Tandem paragliding

I went paragliding with a woman in Graubünden. We flew over a lake. The mountain where we started from was very high. It was a lot of fun but it took a lot of courage. The same day I also went swimming in the lake close by.

My mother and I spent one week in Jesolo, Italy. It was very hot and beautiful. Then we were in Venice, where it was even hotter. We had to take a boat to reach Venice. We enjoyed it a lot. The food was very tasty. We were shopping. I bought clothes, ha, ha, I nearly ran out of space in my suitcase, and yes ...

 

Otherwise we were swimming at the beach and chilling and we took a lot of beautiful pictures.

During our summer holidays I visited Pudding Lane, that’s where the Great Fire of London started in 1666.

Nowadays you can still see the sign of the baker’s place.

But you can also visit „The Monument“ at the junction of Monument Street and Fish Street Hill, it was built to commerate the Great Fire.

I walked from the site in Pudding Lane where the fire began to the monument (the exact distance is 61 metres). An interesting fact is, that „The Monument“ is exactly 61 metres high.

It was quite exhausting to climb up the staircase of 311 steps. But from the top you have a wonderful view over the city of London.
